7.6 SYSTEMS

7.6.1 MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS

An appropriate Management Information System will be installed in order to effectively organize information and ensure that a proper filing system is in place. All important data will have to be kept in order so that accountability for all transactions taking place is ensured.

7.6.2 ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEM

The business will employ a simple accounting system. With this system, the owners will be in a position to monitor the performance of the business well. The monitoring will be done on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. It is recommended that the business acquires a well priced version of Quick Book, Pastel Accounting Software or Omni Accounting Software. This will ease the work of capturing supplier and customer transactions as well as the performance of other Bookkeeping and Accounting functions.

7.6.3 PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Performance Management Systems will help to improve human resource utilization and will eventually enhance productivity in the organization. All employees will sign contracts stipulating exactly what is required of each employee.
